    What is Amlodipine–Telmisartan used for?

    Amlodipine–Telmisartan is used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure). It is used alone or with other blood pressure medications. This combination medication is composed of Amlodipine, a calcium channel blocker, and Telmisartan, an angiotensin receptor blocker. Amlodipine–Telmisartan relaxes the blood vessels, which lowers blood pressure. Lowering high blood pressure helps prevents heart attacks, strokes and kidney problems. This medicine may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.

    What is the recommended dosage of Amlodipine–Telmisartan?

    The dosage of Amlodipine–Telmisartan prescribed to each patient will vary. Always follow your physician’s instructions and/or the directions on the prescription drug label.
