Generic for Aromasin* (Exemestane) is used to treat early and advanced breast cancer in the postmenopausal women who have been already treated with a cancer medication called tamoxifen for 2 to 3 years.

Generic for Aromasin* is indicated for the treatment of hormone-receptor-positive breast cancer and not used to treat the breast cancer that is not hormone sensitive. Generic for Aromasin* is not recommended for use in children.
