Bromocriptine

Bromocriptine is used to treat a variety of medical conditions, including Parkinson's disease, menstrual problems, infertility, and abnormal milk production in men or women. This medicine is also used to lower excess production of growth hormone, which results in abnormally large facial features, hands, and feet. Bromocriptine works by restoring the balance of a natural substance (dopamine) in the brain.

The dosage of Bromocriptine prescribed to each patient will vary. Always follow your physician’s instructions and/or the directions on the prescription drug label.

Bromocriptine should be taken with food.

Missed Dose of Bromocriptine

If your physician has instructed or directed you to take Bromocriptine medication in a regular schedule and you have missed a dose of this medicine, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, then skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not double the doses unless otherwise directed.

Overdose of Bromocriptine
