    What is Bromocriptine used for?

    Bromocriptine is used to treat a variety of medical conditions, including Parkinson's disease, menstrual problems, infertility, and abnormal milk production in men or women. This medicine is also used to lower excess production of growth hormone, which results in abnormally large facial features, hands, and feet. Bromocriptine works by restoring the balance of a natural substance (dopamine) in the brain. This medicine may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.

    The dosage of Bromocriptine prescribed to each patient will vary. Always follow your physician’s instructions and/or the directions on the prescription drug label.

    What if you miss a dose of Bromocriptine?

    If your physician has instructed or directed you to take Bromocriptine medication in a regular schedule and you have missed a dose of this medicine, take it as soon as you remember.
