Albuterol (Generic Combivent) is used to open the airways in diseases, such as asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, where spasm may cause breathing problems. Generic Combivent may also prevent exercise-induced breathing problems.

How to take Generic for Combivent :
The dosage of Generic for Combivent prescribed to each patient will vary. Always follow your physicians instructions and/or the directions on the prescription drug label. The following dosage information includes some common doses of Generic for Combivent. If your dose is different, do not follow any of the dosages described below unless your physician has approved.
The usual recommended dosage of Generic for Combivent for asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease is two inhalations four times a day. Patients may take additional inhalations as required; however, the total number of inhalations should not exceed 12 in 24 hours.
Missed Dose of Generic for Combivent :
If your physician has instructed or directed you to take Generic for Combivent medication in a regular schedule and you have missed a dose of this medicine, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, instead skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not double the doses unless otherwise directed.
