What does Doxasozin treat?
Doxasozin is a medication that is prescribed to treat high blood pressure. Lowering blood pressure helps to reduce the strain on the heart besides helping prevent heart attacks, strokes and kidney problems. It also treats an enlarged prostate gland and associated problems such as burning during urination, frequent urination, urinary hesitancy and incomplete emptying of the bladder. This belongs to the class of alpha blockers. Your physician may prescribe this to treat other conditions too.
Follow the Doxasozin dosage prescribed by your physician. The dosage could vary based on individual patient requirements. Always follow your physician’s instructions or go by the directions on the prescription drug label. Take it with a full glass of water.
Missed a dose?
Take it immediately once you remember. In case, this time falls close to the next dosage, skip it and get back to the prescribed schedule. Never take a double dose unless your physician specifically directs you to do so.
Don’t waste any time and seek immediate medical attention. Some of the overdose symptoms that you might encounter are seizures, drowsiness and fainting.
