    What is Erythromycin used for?

    Erythromycin is an antibiotic medicine used to treat or prevent different types of bacterial infections. This medication fights bacteria in your body and thus stops their growth. It belongs to the macrolide family of medicines. This medicine may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.

    What is the recommended dosage of Erythromycin?

    The dosage of Erythromycin prescribed to each patient will vary. Always follow your physician’s instructions and/or the directions on the prescription drug label.

    Take Erythromycin with a full glass of water. Do not crush, chew, or break the tablet. Swallow the medication whole.

    What if you miss a dose of Erythromycin?

    Hi, Recommended dosage for Erythromycin 250mg is 1 tablet twice a day morning and night for children above 7 years and below 14 years Recommended dosage for Erythromycin 500mg is 1 tablet twice a day morning and night for adults above 14 years But regarding the exact drug and dosage I would suggest you to please get confirmation from you physician since your physician would suggest you based on the severity of your health conditions.
