Isotretinoin

Isotretinoin is prescribed to treat severe type of acne known as nodular acne that has not responded to any other acne treatments. Nodular acnes are swollen lumps that are formed due to large amounts of sebum (facial oil) production. Isotretinoin is a form of vitamin A that decreases sebum production and thus prevents your face from permanent scarring. This drug belongs to a class of chemical compounds known as retinoids.

Missed Dose of Isotretinoin
