    What is Lisinopril used for?

    Lisinopril treats high blood pressure (hypertension) and congestive heart failure, as well as improves survival after a heart attack. It belongs to a group of drugs called ACE inhibitors. This medicine may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.

    What is the recommended dosage of Lisinopril?

    The dosage of Lisinopril prescribed to each patient will vary. Always follow your physician’s instructions and/or the directions on the prescription drug label.

    Lisinopril can be taken with or without food.

    What if you miss a dose of Lisinopril?

    If your physician has instructed or directed you to take Lisinopril medication in a regular schedule and you have missed a dose of this medicine, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, then skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not double the doses unless otherwise directed.

    What if you overdose on Lisinopril?

    Any medication taken in excess can have serious consequences. If you suspect an overdose of Lisinopril, seek medical attention immediately.

    What other drugs could interact with Lisinopril?

    Like other medicines, Lisinopril can cause some side effects. If they do occur, the side effects of Lisinopril are most likely to be minor and temporary. However, some may be serious and may require the individual to inform the doctor or visit the nearest hospital immediately.

    It is pertinent to note that side effects of Lisinopril cannot be anticipated. If any side effects of Lisinopril develop or change in intensity, the doctor should be informed as soon as possible.

    Lisinopril can cause side effects such as cough, dizziness, headache, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, fever, muscle weakness, and chest pain. This is not a complete list of all side effects. Do concur with your doctor and follow his directions completely when you are taking Lisinopril.

    Currently taking lisinopril 40mg/clonidine 0.2mg/diltiazem er 240mg is it possible to crossover to your products no insurance or current doctor long term high blood pressure thanks. Reply

    Hi, We don't have Lisinopril 40mg, but we have Lisinopril 10mg so I would suggest you to take 4 tablets of Lisinopril 10mg to compensate Lisinopril 40mg. http://www.internationaldrugmart.com/lisinopril.html We don't have Clonidine 0.2mg but we have Clonidine 0.1mg.     Hi, Lisinopril-Hctz 20-12.5 Contains Lisinopril 20mg and Hydrochlorothiazide 12.5mg- Drug effective is higher. Lisinopril-Hctz 5-12.5mg Contains Lisinopril 5mg and Hydrochlorothiazide 12.5mg-Drug effective is lesser than Lisinopril-Hctz 20-12.5mg.
