Metoclopramide

Metoclopramide is used to treat the symptoms of diabetic gastroparesis such as nausea, vomiting, heartburn, indigestion, persistent fullness after meals, and loss of appetite. Metoclopramide is also used in the short-term treatment of heartburn in people with gastroesophageal reflux disorder (GERD). By increasing the muscle contractions in the upper digestive tract, Metoclopramide aids the passage of food.

Recommended Dosage - Discount Prescription Drug Metoclopramide

The dosage of Metoclopramide prescribed to each patient will vary. Always follow your physician’s instructions and/or the directions on the prescription drug label.

Take Metoclopramide on an empty stomach, at least 30 minutes before a meal.

Missed Dose of Metoclopramide

However, if it is almost time for your next dose, then skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not double the doses unless otherwise directed.
