What does Minocycline treat?
Minocycline is a Tetracycline Antibiotic. This is highly effective in curing a wide range of bacterial infections. This includes respiratory tract infections, skin infections, severe acne, tick fever, chlamydia, urinary tract infections, gonorrhea and others. It works by stemming bacterial growth. This apart, your physician might use it to treat other medical conditions too.
Follow the Minocycline dosage prescribed by your physician. The dosage could vary based on individual patient requirements. You can take this along with your food or without food. Always follow your physician’s instructions or go by the directions on the prescription drug label.
Missed a dose?
Take it immediately once you remember. In case, this time is closer to the next dosage, skip it and get back to the prescribed schedule. Never take a double dose unless specifically instructed by your doctor.
