How to get rid of blisters naturally!
When the temperature gets hotter, feet tend to swell and sweat and this results in friction between the feet and shows. This may result in painful, fluid-filled blisters. When you buy new shoes, make sure that they don’t pinch you as this can result in blisters too.
Aloe Vera Gel
Aloe Vera is a natural anti-inflammatory and works to bring down redness and swelling. It soothes, hydrates and heals as well. The best way to use this is straight from the plant. Apply this on the blister twice a day and after it dries, wash it off with warm water.
Apple Cider Vinegar
Apple cider vinegar contains antibacterial properties, so it could help prevent infection once the blister pops. This can sting a bit, so dip a swab of cotton in apple cider vinegar and swab around the open area or popped area.
Soak the blister in green tea
Green tea contains anti-inflammatory properties which help with healing. To try this remedy, brew some tea bags in boiling water and then add a teaspoon of baking soda which has antiseptic properties. Let this cool, then soak your blister in it. Do this twice or thrice a day.
Diaper rash cream
This may come as a surprise but it’s known as a great remedy for blisters. Choose a diaper cream with zinc oxide.
This has been used as a home remedy for many things ranging form hair growth, lips to blisters. All you need to do is apply castor oil to your blisters and leave them overnight. You are likely to find relief by morning.
Apply this on the blister every night and go to sleep. This will not only bring down the pain but also keep it hydrated. You may also soak your feet in warm water for 15 minutes, dry it and put petroleum jelly on it. Repeat twice a day.
