Give yourself time
Don’t push yourself too hard. Give your body and mind enough time to relax. This means not saying ‘yes’ to every event that comes your way, skip a party if you feel that you need rest instead. Go for a massage, read a book, listen to music, each one finds a different thing soothing.
Distract yourself from pain

Know why a particular medication is being prescribed and learn how it helps you. See how it affects your pain and mood. Discuss with your doctor if you are uncomfortable with a medication. Keep a journal recording your pain and the levels of pain that you face. This will be helpful when you consult your doctor.

Good planning will help you stay away from getting stressed. You can space out your daily schedule so that you get adequate rest.
