Legume pasta made from chick peas besides red and green lentils is gaining a great deal of popularity. These pastas are higher in nutritional values when compared to the traditional ones. There’s more protein and fiber and its gluten-free as well.
Probiotics are great for gut health and help to keep the good bacteria in your digestive system in proper balance. They help in the treatment and prevention of a range of ailments such as Diarrhea, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, vaginal infections, ulcerative colitis, H. pylori (the cause of ulcers), Crohn's disease, Urinary Tract Infections and more. Traditionally, it has been only yogurt that featured on the probiotic list but now we see emerging options such as probiotic sparkling water, dairy-free beverages and oatmeal.
High-Smoke point cooking oils
Today, we have a wide range of cooking oils and it has really become tough to choose. Overheating oils that are not meant to be heated to that degree is very bad for health. Therefore, make it a point to choose oils that have higher smoking point such as canola oil or algae oils in case you need a greater degree of heat for your preparation.
Mushroom demand will grow

Foods that are more natural will become more popular. As people have woken up to the dangers of consuming nitrites, sulphites, carcinogens, etc, they would choose to go more natural. New foods free from artificial ingredients and preservatives will hit the shelves.
