Fat around your middle can significantly up the risk of heart disease. If the waistline is over 35 inches around for women or 40 inches for men, then it’s important to slim down.
Thinking you are too young
There is no such thing as being too young to cultivate good heart habits. Exercise, eat healthy food and keep stress out of your life by learning to relax.

Moderate drinking say one a day for women and two for men is fine but beyond that it can increase fat levels in the blood and blood pressure too.
Know your numbers

If you have been feeling low for a few weeks, get professional help. Feeling low makes you lose interest in other activities such as exercising, eating healthy and so on. Go for exercise, medication or whatever is needed to bring you out of that low feeling.
You may not be a smoker but the smoker next to you could endanger your heart health. Secondhand smoke can damage your heart and blood vessels.
Trusting just your workout
You could be one of the many who believe that just the morning workout is enough to keep the heart healthy. However, if you have a job that requires more of just sitting down, it’s important to have small pockets of activity. Get up now and then and take a brisk walk to boost circulation.
