      Heart healthy foods to gorge on

      Heart disease is one of the major killers worldwide and food habits play a key role in preventing and controlling heart disease. In fact, consuming the right kinds of food can help to control blood pressure, triglycerides, cholesterol levels and inflammation which can trigger heart disease.

      Various kinds of berries such as strawberries, blackberries, blueberries and raspberries are abundant in key nutrients for heart health. These are also filled with antioxidants such as anthocyanins that prevent, oxidative stress and inflammation that can lead to heart disease. So, fill up on the berries.
