      Boost your stamina naturally!

      All of us can do with a bit more energy to get us through our day-to-day activities. Stamina refers to your ability to sustain physical and mental activity. Here are some trusted methods to help you gain the stamina you need.


      Get a regular dose of exercise. This will keep you physically and mentally energized. A brisk walk every day or exercise before or after work helps. Get a workout of at least 30 minutes a day and at least five days a week. It also brings down work-related levels of fatigue.

      Eat healthy

      Fuel your body well. Choose foods that give you energy in a healthy way.  Choose a low-fat, high protein diet and add in plenty of raw foods. Make sure you get adequate amounts of protein.

      Stay hydrated

      Your energy levels can fall drastically if you are dehydrated. Make sure you drink enough water or juice. Drinking some hot water in the morning is an excellent way to keep your digestion in good shape and boost metabolism.

      Sleep well

      Every adult needs 7 to 9 hours of sleep every night. This is important to help you keep stress at bay besides optimum mental and physical performance.

      Keep your weight in check

      Work to maintain your ideal weight based on your height and body structure. If you are underweight or overweight, consult a doctor or nutritionist to help you chart a proper diet that will help you.

      Caffeine is known to boost stamina but that does not mean that you should overdose on it. It acts as a stimulant and perk you up when you feel tired.

      These not only help you cope with stress, they also provide you with good physical and mental well-being. Make this part of your routine.
