This vitamin is safe when consumed in small doses. It can be taken any time of the day but in small doses. This is a water-soluble vitamin and will help your body absorb iron better. In case, you have been prescribed extra iron, taking Vitamin C increases the benefit.

      Prenatal vitamins

During pregnancy, women are asked to take prenatal vitamins. Sometimes, doctors prescribe a particular time for consuming the vitamins. Many women have nausea and vomiting as one of the symptoms of pregnancy. In case, the prenatal vitamin increases nausea, these can be taken during bedtime with a little food.

      Fat soluble vitamins

Fat soluble vitamins include vitamin A, vitamin K, vitamin E, and vitamin D. When you have excess of these, they get stored in your liver. They work best when taken with a meal and preferably an evening meal. Consuming these along with food that has saturated fats or oils improves absorption.

Always take these with food as most of these are fat-soluble. They might upset the stomach if taken on an empty stomach.
