By relaxing blood vessels and by getting rid of excess salt and water in your body, this combination medication lowers the blood pressure. Reduction of high blood pressure helps prevent strokes, heart attacks, and kidney problems.

Recommended Dosage - Discount Prescription Drug Valsartan–Hydrochlorothiazide

The dosage of Valsartan–Hydrochlorothiazide prescribed to each patient will vary. Always follow your physician’s instructions and/or the directions on the prescription drug label.

Valsartan–Hydrochlorothiazide may be taken with or without food. Take it at the same time each day.

Missed Dose of Valsartan–Hydrochlorothiazide

If your physician has instructed or directed you to take Valsartan–Hydrochlorothiazide medication in a regular schedule and you have missed a dose of this medicine, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, then skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not double the doses unless otherwise directed.
