What is Valsartan and S-Amlodipine used for?
Valsartan and S-Amlodipine is a combination medicine used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). It is composed of Valsartan, an angiotensin receptor blocker, and S-Amlodipine, a calcium channel blocker. By relaxing the blood vessels, this medicine increases the blood and oxygen supply to the heart. Lowering high blood pressure helps prevent strokes, heart attacks, and kidney problems. This medicine may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.
What is the recommended dosage of Valsartan and S-Amlodipine?
The dosage of Valsartan and S-Amlodipine prescribed to each patient will vary. Always follow your physician’s instructions and/or the directions on the prescription drug label.
Take Valsartan and S-Amlodipine with a full glass of water. It may be taken with or without food.
What if you miss a dose of Valsartan and S-Amlodipine?
