Vildagliptin–Metformin
Vildagliptin–Metformin is prescribed to help control blood sugar levels in people with type 2 diabetes (non-insulin-dependent diabetes). This combination medication is used in type 2 diabetes patients whose blood sugar is not controlled by the maximum tolerated dose of oral Metformin alone or by the treatment with Vildagliptin and Metformin as separate tablets.
Recommended Dosage - Discount Prescription Drug Vildagliptin–Metformin
The dosage of Vildagliptin–Metformin prescribed to each patient will vary. Always follow your physician’s instructions and/or the directions on the prescription drug label.
Vildagliptin–Metformin should be taken with or after food.
Missed Dose of Vildagliptin–Metformin
If your physician has instructed or directed you to take Vildagliptin–Metformin medication in a regular schedule and you have missed a dose of this medicine, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, then skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not double the doses unless otherwise directed.
Overdose of Vildagliptin–Metformin
Any medication taken in excess can have serious consequences. If you suspect an overdose of Vildagliptin–Metformin, seek medical attention immediately.
Side Effects of Vildagliptin–Metformin
