Xylocaine (Lidocaine)

Xylocaine (Lidocaine) is a topical anesthetic gel/ointment used to relieve itching, burning, discomfort, and pain associated with skin disorders such as sunburns, minor cuts, scrapes, insect bites, plant poisonings, and hemorrhoids. Lidocaine is also used to numb the gums during dental procedures, treat nerve pain caused by post-herpetic neuralgia, as well as relieve inflammation in the mouth and throat.

Recommended Dosage - Discount Prescription Drug Xylocaine

The dosage of Xylocaine prescribed to each patient will vary. Always follow your physician’s instructions and/or the directions on the prescription drug label.

Wash your hands well after each application of Xylocaine medicine. Do not apply the gel/ointment onto the broken skin.

Missed Dose of Xylocaine

If your physician has instructed or directed you to apply Xylocaine medication in a regular schedule and you have missed a dose of this medicine, apply it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, then skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not double the doses unless otherwise directed.

Overdose of Xylocaine

Side Effects of Xylocaine
