Acetazolamide 250mg is a carbonic anhydrase inhibitor, which is prescribed to treat various diseases including certain types of seizures, altitude sickness, glaucoma, cystinuria, benign intracranial hypertension, and dural ectasia. Acetazolamide is also used to treat other conditions as determined by your health physician. This medicine may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.

Like other medicines, Acetazolamide 250mg can cause some side effects. If they do occur, the side effects of Acetazolamide are most likely to be minor and temporary. However, some may be serious and may require the individual to inform the doctor or visit the nearest hospital immediately.
