Generic for Metohexal* (Metoprolol) is used to treat chest pain (angina) and high blood pressure (hypertension). By lowering high blood pressure, Generic for Metohexal* helps prevent kidney problems and strokes. This medicine belongs to a group of drugs called beta-blockers, which is also used to treat or prevent heart attacks.This medicine may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.

What is the recommended dosage of Generic for Metohexal*?
