Generic for Tenopt* is an ophthalmic medication used to reduce elevated intraocular pressure in patients with ocular hypertension or open-angle glaucoma. By lowering high pressure inside the eyes, this medication helps prevent blindness. It belongs to a class of drugs known as beta-blockers. This medicine may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.
