This combination medication is composed of two drugs namely Olmesartan and Hydrochlorothiazide. Olmesartan relaxes blood vessels thereby allowing easy blood flow and Hydrochlorothiazide helps eliminate extra water and salt from your body. Generic for Benicar HCT* lowers high blood pressure thereby preventing kidney problems, strokes, and heart attacks.
