What does Carbamazepine 400mg XR treat?
Carbamazepine 400mg XR is an anticonvulsant or anti-epileptic drug. This medication is prescribed to treat and prevent seizure besides a range of nerve pain disorders such as trigeminal neuralgia and diabetic neuropathy. It acts by reducing the seizure activity in the brain and restoring the normal balance.
Possible Side Effects
Some of the side effects are headache, constipation, dizziness, drowsiness, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pain, and dry mouth. Some of the serious side effects of this drug are fever, vision changes, shortness of breath, chest pain, fainting, yellowing of the skin or eyes, seizures and unusual swelling of your ankles or feet.
