What is Cefaclor CD 375mg used for?

Cefaclor CD 375mg is prescribed to treat a wide variety of bacterial infections such as ear, nose, throat, skin, urine and respiratory tract infections. It is a cephalosporin-type antibiotic that works by stopping the growth of bacteria in your body. This medicine may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.

What are the side effects of Cefaclor CD 375mg?

Like other medicines, Cefaclor CD 375mg can cause some side effects. If they do occur, the side effects are most likely to be minor and temporary. However, some may be serious and may require the individual to inform the doctor or visit the nearest hospital immediately.  

Cefaclor CD 375mg, a medication typically prescribed to treat acute ear, nose, and throat infections, is known for its wide range of effectiveness against bacterial agents. While it is considered to be generally safe for adults and children ages two months and older, Cefaclor can have several potential side effects associated with its use.

  • Ethacrynic acid
  • Furosemide
  • Probenecid
  • Warfarin
