What is Daunorubicin used for?

Daunorubicin is an injection medication used to treat leukemia and other cancers. This anticancer medication belongs to the group of chemotherapy drugs known as anthracycline antibiotics. It works by preventing the growth of cancer cells. This medicine may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.

What is the recommended dosage of Daunorubicin?

The dosage of Daunorubicin prescribed to each patient will vary. Always follow your physician’s instructions and/or the directions on the prescription drug label.
