What does Divalproex treat?

Divalproex is used to treat psychiatric disorders such as bipolar disorder, seizures and to prevent migraines. It works by restoring the balance of neurotransmitters in the brain. Your physician may use this to treat other ailments based on their discretion.

Possible Side Effects

Divalproex does not have any major side effects and if any, they are minor and temporary. In rare cases, there might be major side effects and immediate medical attention must be sought. Side effects cannot be anticipated in advance.

Some of the side effects are diarrhea, blurred vision, constipation, weight changes, hair loss, drowsiness, ringing in the ears and tremors. This is not the complete list though.
