What is Doxycycline used for?
Doxycycline is a tetracycline antibiotic used to treat a wide variety of bacterial infections, which include acne, periodontitis (gum disease), cholera, urinary tract infection, amebic dysentery, gonorrhea, and chlamydia. Besides, this medicine is also used to prevent malaria and pink eye (conjunctivitis). It works by interrupting the growth of bacteria. This medicine may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.
What is the recommended dosage of Doxycycline?

Take Doxycycline with a full glass of water. After taking this medication, do not lie down for 30 minutes.
