What is Etoposide used for?

Etoposide is a cancer medicine that is used alone or in combination with other medicines to treat various forms of cancer (e.g., small cell lung cancer and testicular cancer). It works by slowing the growth and spread of cancer cells in the body. This medicine is available in capsule and injection forms. This medicine may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.

What is the recommended dosage of Etoposide?

The dosage of Etoposide prescribed to each patient will vary. Always follow your physician’s instructions and/or the directions on the prescription drug label.

What if you miss a dose of Etoposide?

If your physician has instructed or directed you to take oral Etoposide medication in a regular schedule and you have missed a dose of this medicine, take it as soon as you remember.
