What does Lisinopril-HCTZ treat?
Lisinopril-HCTZ is an ACE inhibitor that treats high blood pressure (hypertension). This is a powerful combination of Lisinopril-HCTZ, an ACE inhibitor and Hydrochlorothiazide, a diuretic. Together, they remove excess salt and water from your body by relaxing the blood vessels. Lowering blood pressure helps prevents heart attacks, stroke and kidney problems. Consistent high blood pressure puts a strain on the heart and arteries and Lisinopril-HCTZ helps in bringing them relief. Your physician may use this to treat other ailments based on their discretion.
Dosage Instructions
Follow the Lisinopril-HCTZ dosage prescribed by your physician. The dosage could vary based on individual patient requirements. Always follow your physician’s instructions or go by the directions on the prescription drug label. Drink it with a full glass of water.
Missed a dose?
Take it immediately once you remember. In case, this time is closer to the next dosage, skip it and get back to the prescribed schedule. Never take a double dose.
