What is Metaxalone 400mg MR used for?

Metaxalone 400mg MR is used along with rest and physical therapy to treat pain and spasms caused by muscle injuries such as sprains and strains. It is a muscle relaxant that relaxes muscles. Metaxalone works by blocking pain sensations (nerve impulses) in the brain. This medicine may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.

What is the recommended dosage of Metaxalone?

The dosage of Metaxalone prescribed to each patient will vary. Always follow your physician’s instructions and/or the directions on the prescription drug label.

Metaxalone can be taken with food to prevent stomach upset.

What if you miss a dose of Metaxalone?
