What is Mometasone 0.1% Cream 15g used for?
Mometasone 0.1% Cream 15g is a topical corticosteroid used to treat inflammation, redness, itching, and swelling caused by a number of skin conditions such as psoriasis, eczema, dermatitis, allergy, lichen simplex chronicus, genital organ pruritus, granuloma annulare, discoid lupus erythematosus, and cutaneous T-cell lymphoma.
Mometasone is also available in nasal spray form, which is used to treat and prevent nasal symptoms such as stuffy nose, runny nose, itching, and sneezing caused by seasonal or perennial (year-round) allergies. This medicine may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.
What are the side effects of Mometasone 0.1% Cream 15g?
Like other medicines, Mometasone 0.1% Cream 15g can cause some side effects. If they do occur, the side effects of Mometasone are most likely to be minor and temporary. However, some may be serious and may require the individual to inform the doctor or visit the nearest hospital immediately.
It is pertinent to note that side effects of Mometasone cannot be anticipated. If any side effects of Mometasone develop or change in intensity, the doctor should be informed as soon as possible.

What is the recommended dosage of Mometasone?

Wash your hands before and after using Mometasone. Apply a thin film of Mometasone cream or ointment onto the affected area once daily. To apply the lotion, gently massage a few drops onto the affected area once daily.
What if you miss a dose of Mometasone?
If your physician has instructed or directed you to apply Mometasone medication in a regular schedule and you have missed a dose of this medicine, apply it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, then skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. Do not double the doses unless otherwise directed.
What if you overdose on Mometasone?
Any medication taken in excess can have serious consequences. If you suspect an overdose of Mometasone, seek medical attention immediately.
What other drugs could interact with Mometasone 0.1% Cream 15g?
Usually drug interactions occur when it is taken with another drug or with food.
