What is Nevirapine used for?
Nevirapine is used to treat human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection. It belongs to a class of medications called non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors. Nevirapine is used together with other anti-HIV drugs. This medication works by lowering the amount of HIV in the blood. This medicine may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.
