What is Nimodipine 30mg used for?
Nimodipine 30mg is used to treat and prevent neurological problems (brain damage) caused by subarachnoid hemorrhage
Subarachnoid hemorrhage refers to bleeding in the space around the brain that occurs due to a ruptured brain blood vessel, which results in reduced blood flow to the brain. Nimodipine relaxes blood vessels in the brain near the area of bleeding and improves blood flow, thereby reducing brain damage.
Nimodipine belongs to a group of drugs called calcium channel blockers. Nimodipine may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.
What are the side effects of Nimodipine 30mg?
Like other medicines, Nimodipine 30mg can cause some side effects. If they do occur, the side effects of Nimodipine are most likely to be minor and temporary. However, some may be serious and may require the individual to inform the doctor or visit the nearest hospital immediately.
It is pertinent to note that side effects of Nimodipine cannot be anticipated. If any side effects of Nimodipine develop or change in intensity, the doctor should be informed as soon as possible.

What is the recommended dosage of Nimodipine?
