This medication is prescribed to replace digestive enzymes in our body when the pancreas cannot make enough on its own. It is used as a replacement therapy in certain medical conditions such as chronic pancreatitis, cystic fibrosis, cancer of the pancreas, and post-surgical removal of the pancreas. This medicine may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.
