What is Selegiline 5mg used for?
Selegiline 5mg is used to treat Parkinson's disease. It is usually prescribed in combination with other medicines namely Levodopa/Carbidopa. This medication improves the symptoms of Parkinson's disease such as movement disorders and muscle stiffness. It prevents the breakdown of a chemical called dopamine in your brain.
This medicine may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.
What are the side effects of Selegiline 5mg?
Like other medicines, Selegiline 5mg can cause some side effects. If they do occur, the side effects of Selegiline are most likely to be minor and temporary. However, some may be serious and may require the individual to inform the doctor or visit the nearest hospital immediately.
