What is Sodium Cromoglycate (Cromolyn) used for?
Sodium Cromoglycate (Cromolyn) ophthalmic solution is used to relieve and prevent symptoms caused by certain allergic eye conditions such as vernal keratoconjunctivitis, vernal conjunctivitis, and vernal keratitis. This anti-allergy agent relieves symptoms such as eye inflammation, redness, tearing, itching, and discharge. This medicine may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.
What is the recommended dosage of Sodium Cromoglycate (Cromolyn)?
The dosage of Sodium Cromoglycate (Cromolyn) prescribed to each patient will vary. Always follow your physician’s instructions and/or the directions on the prescription drug label.
Before applying Sodium Cromoglycate (Cromolyn) eye drops, wash your hands first. Do not let the dropper tip touch your eye or any other surface.
