What is Stavudine used for?
Stavudine is an antiviral medication indicated for the treatment of HIV infection. It is used with other medications to help control your HIV infection. This medicine belongs to a class of drugs known as nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors. This medicine may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.
