Valsartan–Hydrochlorothiazide is used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). By relaxing blood vessels and by getting rid of excess salt and water in your body, this combination medication lowers the blood pressure. Reduction of high blood pressure helps prevent strokes, heart attacks, and kidney problems. This medicine may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.
