Generic for Vaniqa* (Eflornithine) cream for topical use is prescribed to slow down the growth rate of unwanted facial hair in women. This cream is used to treat facial hirsutism (excessive hair growth), usually around the lips or under the chin, in women aged 12 years and older. This topical drug only “reduces” the unwanted facial hair and does not permanently remove the hair.
Generic for Vaniqa* works by blocking a certain enzyme necessary for the growth of the hair. This medicine may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.
What is the recommended dosage of Generic for Vaniqa*?
