What is Vildagliptin used for?
Vildagliptin is indicated in the treatment of type 2 diabetes (non-insulin-dependent diabetes). It belongs to a group of drugs known as dipeptidyl peptidase-4 (DPP-4) inhibitors. This medicine may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.
